Nederlandse spelers op het Bwin-netwerk hebben bericht gekregen dat de Nederlandse taaloptie op die site niet langer beschikbaar is. Dat heeft alles te maken met het licentiesysteem dat ook in ons land op handen zou zijn. Andere sites zullen dit voorbeeld waarschijnlijk rap volgen.
Spelers worden niet van de site geweerd en ook klantenservice blijft beschikbaar in de Nederlandse taal. Maar door de taaloptie te verwijderen, komt Bwin tegemoet aan eisen van de Nederlandse autoriteiten, die vooralsnog niet willen dat sites zich expliciet richten op het werven van Nederlandse spelers. In de gereguleerde markt van de (nabije) toekomst hoopt Bwin zo kans te blijven maken op een licentie, een reden die het bedrijf overigens in alle eerlijkheid naar z’n spelers communiceert.

Volgens insiders hebben andere sites ditzelfde verzoek gekregen en zullen zij dezelfde maatregel treffen. Het gaat hierbij in ieder geval om William Hill, Unibet en 888. Wij houden je, zoals altijd, op de hoogte!
